Imphal : Former Inspector General of Police, Koijam Radhashyam Singh was sworn in as the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Manipur on Saturday.
Governor Anusuiya Uikey administered the oath of office to Radhashyam at a brief ceremony at the Raj Bhavan here.
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Chief Secretary Dr Vineet Joshi were among those present on the occasion.
“I am confident that Shri K Radhashyam will further strengthen the Manipur Information Commission under his leadership and serve the public with greater efficacy and commitment,” Chief Minister Briren Singh wrote on X after witnessing the swearing- in-ceremony of Radhashyam Singh .
