3 Corps GOC, IGAR (South) calls on Manipur Governor

3 Corps GOC Lt. General HS Sahi along with Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South) Major General Rajan Sharawat with Governor Governor Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhawan in Jammu on Monday.

 

Imphal : General Officer Commanding (GOC) of  3 Corps Lt. General HS Sahi along with Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South)  Major General Rajan Sharawat  on Thursday called on Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan

During their meeting, Sahi and Sharawat briefed the Governor on the current security situation in Manipur, including the army and Assam Rifles’ deployment in vulnerable areas to prevent further ethnic violence.

They also briefed the Governor about how the Army and Assam Rifles are aiding the civil administration in maintaining law and order mostly in the peripheral areas and its preparedness to face any challenge at any point in time

The Governor commended the efforts of the Army and Assam Rifles to restore peace and normalcy and urged them to provide full cooperation to the administration officials to protect the lives and property of the citizens and their property.
