Aizawl : Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has cancelled her scheduled campaign trip to poll-bound Mizoram, a party leader said on Thursday.
Priyanka was scheduled to address two election rallies at Treasury Square in Mizoram’s capital Aizawl and at Kawrtethawveng in Mamit district.
“Priyanka Gandhi’s scheduled visit to Mizoram stands cancelled due to unavoidable reasons,”a senior Congress leader said.
The Congress is contesting in 23 seats in the 40-member Mizoram assembly elections on November 7.
