Gangtok: The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa in Gangtok.
Nestled in the alpine landscape of Sikkim, the resort is set amidst lush greenery and offers panoramic views of the majestic Kanchenjunga.
Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Chief Minister of Sikkim inaugurated the beautiful resort and spa. The inaugural programme was attended by prominent dignitaries.

After Pakyong, the arrival of the new Taj property in Gangtok strengthens IHCL’s footprint in Sikkim, and offers a new travel circuit. “We are delighted to further our relationship with the Ambuja Neotia group,” Chhatwal said.
The resort has come up on a sprawling 14 acre territory, is a serene hide out. The architecture emphasizes a strong sense of the indigenous culture and the resort is a blend of Sikkimese aesthetics and contemporary design.
Bringing in the picturesque vistas of the outdoors, each of the spacious rooms features a unique Thangka, the local Buddhism inspired paintings.
Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa offers a unique gastronomic experience to the patrons with its forest-themed, all-day diner Machan, a pan-Asian specialty, Soi & Sake and Guras Lounge & Bar serving Hi-tea and cocktails.
